Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dr Lewinn's Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream The packaging is delightfully luxe and I felt quite special to have a jar gracing my vanity. The cream itself is thick and rich, I loved the feeling of applying it to my thirsty skin after cleansing. Using the cream at night I woke with nourished, hydrated skin, however during the day it left my skin shiny. After a few days of use I broke out in small, yet painful blemishes all over my face. I gave the cream another two weeks to redeem itself but I just didn't like it. My skin recovered after a week of returning to my normal regime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trial Team Review - Dr Lewinn's I was impressed by the packaging of the Dr LeWinn's Eternal Youth Day and Night Cream. It looks luxe and reminds me of Lancome's creams. Feels nice to hold and looks great on the vanity table as well. Upon reading the packaging, I was impressed to see the ingredients list... Juvefoxo which assists with skin rejuvenation and cell repair, Vitamin A which is also a cell repair ingredient, diamond and black pearl which gives the skin a youthful glow. The list of ingredients sound promising and suits the cream name - Eternal Youth. The texture of the cream was thick but not heavy when applied on the face and neck. It was easy to massage into the skin and absorbed quickly. There was a strong scent but the smell was pleasant so that was not an issue. I used the cream for a few weeks and found that the cream was perfect for night use and there was not a film of stickiness left on my face in the morning. I did not break out from the cream which is an issue for my sensitive skin especially when trying new products. My skin felt smooth and plump in the morning but at 26 using youth creams is more of a preventative measure. The dry patches I had around my nose was hydrated and my skin felt good. Will I repurchase this product? Although it is good, I do not think that it is something is needed for my skin at this current point in time. I also prefer a heavier cream for night use and a lighter SPF cream in the mornings.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Luxurious night cream First off the packaging, it has a gorgeous multi faceted lid on a weight jar which just feels luxurious. I thoroughly enjoyed using this at night time, for during the day I would use it unless I was going to wear makeup as it would make my foundation ball up. For hygiene reasons I would have preferred it to be in a pump. Overall I did like it and noticed a very slight improvement in my skin but I feel like it only improved so much and I had to use a product with a higher concentration of glycolic acid to really improve my fine lines and skin texture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from BH Trial Team Thank you BH for inviting me to trial the Dr. LeWinn's Eternal Youth Day and Night Cream. The packaging for this cream is beautiful with it's glossy dark casing and jewel like lid. It feels luxe and so it should for it's $69.99 price tag. Like all face creams however, I feel it would have benefitted with a pump pack for hygeine reasons rather than a screw top lid. Applying after I had cleansed, the silky cream glides onto my skin and absorbs nicely. A little goes a long way. The cream itself has a light scent which isn't offensive and feels almost like a lotion upon application. I did find that this cream is not suitable for use before applying make up as the foundation tends to rub off in little balls quiet easily. The first few weeks of use I noticed my skin felt supple and well moisturised. However, no noticeable difference in my skin has been seen. Fine lines have not improved and my skin tone is still the same. I have found with extended use that my forehead has broken out so this cream may be too heavy for my skin. Given that the cream has been advertised as a Youth Cream which has been formulated with juvefoxos which apparently "rejuvenates skin cell performance by 10 years and seeks to aid cell repair and longevity, providing significant anti-ageing benefits" - I sadly did not see any positive results. If I were to spend $69.99 on a skin cream, this cream would not be it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Average As I enter my 30s, I have definitely noticed many more fine lines and skin irregularities creeping through. I started using anti ageing products in my late 20s in the hope that it will delay the inevitable ageing process. Some products were a hit and others were a miss. Thanks to BH for giving me the opportunity to trial this product. Eternal Youth is neither a hit or a miss. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging. The lid of the container resembles diamond facets. The scent reminds me of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, although the scent is not overpowering but it definitely lingers. The lotion is creamy and thick, however it absorbed into my skin amazingly quick. This is both a day and night cream. I find myself reaching for it each night but not each morning. I personally only use day creams that contain SPF. However in saying that, I have applied this lotion during the day underneath my makeup and my makeup glided on easily and lasted the whole day without a touch up. I'm pleased this cream did not cause any breakouts. My face and neck felt nourished and looked radiant by the morning. Did it assist with cell renewal? I honestly cannot tell. After 6-7 weeks of using it almost everyday, there really isn't a huge improvement to my skin. I'm not a fan of day/night combination creams as without SPF during the day, it's pretty pointless. This product has performed well as a night cream. It looks expensive, it feels expensive, it comes with a $70 price tag. Would I purchase this product? Probably not. I was pleased with the outcome, however I expected a bit more than simply to hydrate and increase the appearance of radiance on my skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trial team This cream comes in a solid jar which looks very aesthetically appealling and luxurious, its shape inspired by a diamond. Its scent is fresh and melony, but rather longlasting. It has a creamy texture which absorbs within minutes, leaving no greasiness or shininess. Did the product nourish and renew dull, dehyrated skin: yes, my skin is brighter and softer after application of this cream. Did it leave my skin feeling rejuvenated: yes, and this effect lasts for the rest of the day. Did it assist with skin cell renewal: no, having used this for 7 weeks now, there has been no real changes to my overall skin texture. In summary, this is a good basic moisturising cream. I like that it is convenient especially to take on overnight trips because of its multipurpose day-night use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dr Lewinn's Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream - Trial Team Review I was super excited when I received this cream in the mail. It is such a beautiful jar, it looks gorgeous sitting on my bathroom shelf. I really like the scent, it is strong but I don't find it overpowering and it is quite pleasant. I love the feel of the cream, it is silky smooth and glides effortlessly onto your skin, though I did feel that I had to use quite a lot of cream to get a good moisture coverage. I would have preferred a spatula to get the cream out of the jar as I found it would get caught under my nails when they were long. Overall though I was quite disappointed with the cream. I have found no real difference with my skin after using the cream for over a month, if anything I actually feel that I have had more breakouts and blocked pores since using it. I certainly have not felt that it has nourished or renewed my skin, and it has not left my skin feeling rejuvenated. The fact that it does not contain an spf is also disappointing, and I did find that if I applied my normal face sunscreen over the top of the cream it tended to ball up on my face. In conclusion, it is a nice looking cream, but it does not live up to the hype and I do not think it is worth $69.95. RESPONSE FROM DR. LEWINN'S: Thank you for your feedback on Dr. LeWinn's Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream. We regret to hear that you weren't completely satisfied with the product. Rated 3 out of 5 by from trial team review I was suitably impressed when I opened the box for this product – the jar looks lovely. The cream inside has a silky, lotion feel which leaves a slight sheen on top of the skin before soaking in. The scent is incredibly overpowering and lingers for ages, so I would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't like, or is sensitive to fragrance. Dr LeWinns claims this cream “leaves skin visibly younger looking, improving overall look, texture and health”. Sadly, after six weeks of use twice a day, I couldn't honestly say this cream has made any difference to my skin. While I had no negative differences (break outs) the look of my skin is unchanged. If anything, I felt it was not really hydrating enough. Given the price point of this cream, I expected to see results. I wasn't really a fan of a combined day and night cream either. Rightly or wrongly, I like my day and night cream to serve different purposes, but this product would suit someone who prefers to use less products. I found when I tried to apply sunscreen over it in the morning it would ball up on my skin. I'm also not a fan of products in jars. Overall this product looked impressive, sounded impressive and had a price tag to match but just didn't perform the way I expected.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trial team 2014 Tne Drlewinns eternal day and night cream comes in a beautifully designed heavy round tub. The design is lovely, and is silver and black. There is a screw top lid and when you open it you will notice a white creamy lotion. The white lotion has a strong perfume that is sweet, a small amount of the cream only a 20cent piece, for the whole face. The cream is thick but on application to the skin I found the rich lotion instantly calming and fresh on my skin, plus it instantly absorbs. After a few minutes I found the cream was completely soaked into my skin, and left it fresh. No oil, greasy or thick feeling. Alas you also have to use your fingers' so I wish this wasn't the case. I was abit taken aback to using this as a day and night cream, I like using different products, and I was atiny bit dissapointed as there is no spf in this product. During the trial, I have to say I felt my skin was moisturiser well, enough in the day and well through the night. This cream contains some new ingredients plus vitamin a, and I really liked the way my skin looked and felt replumped and hydrated. This cream sat really well under spf and makeup and didn't leave me oily, greasy or with piling skin at the end of the day. My skin still felt moisturiser but not clogged. With continual use my fine lines tiny, have decreased. As for claims about improving texture and tone no luck, really no change so point down for that. As a combination skin that is prone to congestion, I was worried about this but overal no clogged skin or more breakouts here. As a night cream this works better, with no spf its much more effectivd, and with vitamin a included you should be using spf anyway. It soaked in just the same way, thick fresh and smooth. I woke up with fresh skin. The dr lewinns day night cream is expensive, but is a good size and will last a while. For me this product worked better as a thick night cream. This left my skin plump and moisturiser but thats all, plus it feels fresh. Just remember this cream has vitamin a and if your not use to it it can hurt, and cause dryness, in this case remember spf and start with 2nd daily use. Overall 3 stars from me for this moisturiser in a jar. It lost points because no spf no spatula, no effect on skin tone, texture and the day plus night effect. Its reasonable if your after a moistuiser after a serum, and then a spf, too much work for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dr Lewinns Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream - Trial Team As soon as I received the moisturiser I was impressed. It comes beautifully packaged in a grey heavy jar with a stunning looking diamond shaped lid that makes it look very luxurious. It has a lovely gentle floral scent that you can only love, although some may find it a little too strong as it also tends to linger for a while after it has absorbed into the skin. The cream is a combined day and night cream which I do like, although it sadly does mean that it doesn't contain any SPF which I do find is a requirement for all day creams. The cream contains expensive sounding diamond and black pearl and it makes some pretty hefty claims of bringing your skin back to life, and rejuvenating cell performance by 10 years, all while providing long lasting hydration and leaving the skin looking younger and healthier. As always, I am concerned when using anti-ageing creams on my combination skin as often they are so rich that my skin breaks out, but luckily that hasn't been the case. It has a lovely creamy texture and it quickly absorbs into my skin without feeling heavy and without leaving behind a greasy residue. Some night creams are especially too heavy for my skin, and I wake with very greasy skin in the morning, but that was also not the case. And used during the day it worked perfectly under makeup too. After having used the cream for about a month I do like it, but mainly as it serves the job of keeping my skin moisturised and as it hasn't made my skin breakout or feel congested. But as for the claims of claims of improving my skin texture etc unfortunately I cannot really tell any major difference in the either skin tone or the amount and depth of my fine lines. At almost $70 this cream is on the more expensive side and unfortunately I do not quite feel that it provides the results that I was hoping for, and I feel that I have used much better creams that cost a lot less. Again, while I do love that it is a two-in-one product, I would essentially rather use separate night and day creams so that the day cream could contain an SPF, so unfortunately I don't think I will be repurchasing this cream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dr. LeWinn's Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream I was quite excited to trial this product. The tub looks like a futuristic, lunar object, with black, silver and diamond cut patterns on the packaging. It looks so sleek in my bathroom. The cream itself is really lovely, it is soft and easy to apply. At night, I slather a little bit more for extra moisture. What was exciting about this cream as it has diamond and black pearl ingredients that claims to accomplish a youthful complexion. So far my skin feels plumper and softer and I can notice that my fine wrinkles look slightly less wrinkly. There is one thing that has really put me off this cream - That is, the scent. It is overpowering for me and lingers. I prefer something much lighter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dr. LeWinn's Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream I received this cream as part of the trial team, & I was really looking forward to using it. The packaging is pretty, particularly the lid, but I always prefer pump bottles over jars. This moisturizer contains a lot of ingredients I previously hadn't heard of but sound amazing! Juvefoxo for starters, diamond & black pearl (for radiance) & PatcH20 apparently for hydration. And there in was the problem for me. I typically have combination/oily skin, but for some reason, this product just wasn't moisturizing enough - very odd for me - usually the opposite! I don't know if it's been the odd cold weather in my area recently but this cream just didn't leave my skin feeling nourished after application. I also broke out in spots on my face (oh the horror) within days of use - and they were only getting worse daily - my skin was not simply readjusting to a new product. My normal liquid foundation applied really badly over this cream - again - the drying effect just wasn't a good look for me. I read the ingredients list and it contains dimethicone, which from memory my skin hates :( Coming up to spring / summer, I would also require a sunscreen product which this doesn't contain and I'm pretty sure my skin wouldn't handle another layer of product over this cream. Alas - this isn't a product for me, guess I miss out on 'eternal youth' ;)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this a month ago but just opened the jar last night. I noticed it had quite a strong smell about it –a bit like hot rubber. I smelt it again tonight and I just can't bring myself to apply it to my face. I'm so disappointed. I've had Dr Lewinns before and have generally been happy, although never wowed by any results.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Day and night moisturizer I recently received a sample of this product and was very excited to try it; however I was not very impressed.<br />The product feels nice on your skin after application and has a light smell, which is not overpowering. However, as a moisturizer and anti-ageing cream I feel there are better products on the market in the same price range or even cheaper.<br />This product is good for use before makeup application since it goes on matte.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me. Was excited to try this cream when I got it in Priceline's goodie bag. Ripped it open as soon as I got it. Fragrance is too strong, and I prefer no chemical strong scents in the formulas like this one, as they are not beneficial for the skin The cream was not hydrating at all. For more mature skin like mine, I prefer more hydration/nourishment and less cosmetic feel and perfume.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I saved up for this looking forward to a " Luxurious " rich hydrating cream and this was none of the touted at all it left my dry skin still dry and zero hydration I had to add rosehip oil after. The scent is extremely strong as well not in a too bad way but very fragrant . I can't see this cream doing much at all for any types of skin to be 100% honest and for the price it should be a LOT more than what it is a very fragrant very basic moisture cream.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A little disappointing I have used a whole tub now, and I haven't noticed any difference in my skin tone, texture or the fine lines and wrinkles. I have used this every night with and without a rosehip oil. I didn't use it as a day cream as it doesn't have any SPF. It has a pleasant smell, which is not too strong. I find that I need to use quite a lot of the product for my face to feel moisturised. It is in nice packaging, however considering how much it cost I am disappointed with the results.
Date published: 2015-07-29
Rated 2 out of 5 by from No anti-ageing benefits noticeable This cream is probably most suited for normal to oily skin types. The texture is not very thick and absorbs easily, but didn't leave my skin feeling hydrated enough - especially for use at night or even during colder/windier days (I have normal-dry skin type). I also found the fragrance to be too strong. There are many ingredients that are listed and are supposedly anti-ageing but I can see no noticeable positive difference in my skin. I think for the price there are better options out there.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Trial Team I received this fancy cream as apart of the BH trial team otherwise I don't think I would ever buy or try this product. I like the packaging, although it's a bit heavy, but I think I would prefer a different bottle for hygiene reasons. A squeeze out bottle or pump would be better than dipping in your finger in creating bacteria. The cream itself had a nice texture to it and sank into my skin quite nicely. There was a slight fragrance which I didn't mind. It wasn't too strong and I don't usually like fragrance at all. But it's purpose is to have ageing benefits but it doesn't live up to it at all. I saw no difference in my skin after testing this for weeks and therefore wouldn't recommend it. It was essentially a really over priced moisturizer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dr Lewinn's Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream Trial Team I have never used any products from Dr Lewinn's before this trial and was interested to see what the brand was like. After trying the Dr Lewinn's Eternal Youth Day and Night Cream "Celebrating 25 Years" I felt that, unfortunately, this cream doesn't tick all the boxes that a $69.95 cream probably should. In many ways it was ok but I don't think it quite delivered on its claims and it wasn't really for me. Pros included - the lovely looking packaging is very appealing with its silver outer box, solid-feeling jar with pretty jewel-like lid. - The cream smells quite nice but it is a fairly strong and long-lasting scent that might bother some users. I didn't mind it myself. - The cream feels nice, not too greasy, heavy or too light and it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. - It provided a reasonable level of moisturisation for my skin. Cons included - I did find that if I tried to apply a foundation on top it was prone to balling up and coming off. I find that quite irritating with skin products. - It doesn't contain and SPF which is a shame for a day cream, although not a problem with night creams. - I really didn't notice any positive changes to the tone of my skin or reduction of disolouration or signs of ageing. I didn't notice any change to my fine lines. - Each time I used the cream I found I would get one or two little pimples/blemishes on my face. Although the cream doesn't seem heavy there was something in it that disagreed with my skin. I did continue using it for a number of weeks to be sure that the cream was causing the spots and have now stopped using it because of this. For nearly $70 and with ingredients listed like Vitamin A, Diamond, Black Pearl and Juvefoxo hexapeptide I would have expected some more visible results but I found the cream to be just a sweet-smelling, lightly moisturising lotion in a pretty jar.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Team Trial Review I recently was able to try out this product. The pros for me, the packaging was beautiful, the lovely diamond shaped lid made the product look like a luxury item. I enjoyed the fact that it was a day and night cream in one. I felt like it was easy for me to use up all the product and minimise wastage. The smell of this cream was amazing. Very clean and fresh. I also loved the creamy texture of this product. It felt lovely when being first applied on my normal/dry skin and it never felt heavy at all. Unfortunately for me that were all the positive notes end. I felt that this cream didn't actually improve my skin like Dr Lewinns claimed it would. I noticed no real difference in the texture of tone of my face. It didn't minimize any fine lines either. I also found that even though the consistency of the product was very creamy my skin never actually felt fully hydrated compared to some of the other night creams I have used. For this reason I would not purchase myself in the future. I would like to thank the Team Trial girls for allowing me to try out this product. Unfortunately it just wasn't for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not nearly as good as Dr Lewis’s other products I was so disappointed with this cream. I’ve been a long time fan of the brand as their other products have worked wonders for me! I have dry sensitive skin and this did nothing for me. The scent is very strong and a bit sickly. It it very lightweight and silky feeling but I didn’t find any long term results which was a let down especially for the price! The other problem I had was after about 5 minutes, if I touched my face the product would ball up. I couldn’t wear it under makeup as when I applied my foundation the moisture would clump up which was awful. I’m going to finish the jar because it cost me a pretty penny! I’ll just use it on my décolletage until it’s used up. Unfortunately a no go for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected. I expected to love this cream, I really liked the packaging, very smart and looks expensive but the product itself was just a bit 'ordinary'. I didn't care for the scent, I found it a bit too strong and although the cream went on my skin smoothly and sank it well with no stickiness or residue it was just 'meh' to me, as i've used cheaper products with the same result. I used this for over a month and didn't see any difference in the texture or overall appearance of my skin, so wouldn't purchase again, sorry :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointing so far I have found that the cream constantly balls on my face. I have used it with the serum and without the serum both to the same effect. It actually makes me feel like I have a dirty face. I have taken some photos of my face before starting with this cream and I will take some photos when I've finished this jar and see if I can notice any difference. I hope I have a positive result.
