Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product I really like this product. A little goes a long way, it is a little sticky when applying but once it drys it feels weightless and like your wearing nothing. After using it for just under 1 month morning and night the redness in my skin was toned down and skin was much less dry. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely feel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used a Dr. Lewinns product before and so was pleasantly surprised by this serum. I know that not all serums are the same, that it’s important to have the right combination of ingredients to actually show results, and this product seems to do it. I noticed my skin was much brighter and more even looking. I use it at night and wake up with my skin feeling very hydrated. The only negative I would say, is that the packaging doesn’t reflect the price - a nicer looking bottle would add a bit of luxury to the ritual of a nighttime skincare routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Radiant Shine I have used Vitamin C serum's before so wasn't really sure how this serum would be different but was pleasantly surprised - my skin is looking/feeling more radiant and my pigmentation spots have lightened. It has a pleasant smell and is super easy to apply with the dropper dispenser system. The only downside with this serum is that I've found t makes me quite 'shiny' (I have fairly oily skin) so I have been sticking to night time application. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprising This is a fabulous product. The scent is lovely and subtle and the dropper dispenser makes for easy application. The hydration from the serum feels lovely. I've been using it both in the morning and before bed for 2 weeks and have definitely noticed a difference in the pigmentation of my skin tone. I'm new to the serum game and will definitely consider buying it again once it's run out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasant, easy to use serum This is the first vitamin C serum I have added to my skincare routine; have been using it for 2 weeks after initially patch testing. The serum smells pleasant, doesn't feel sticky to apply, and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It sits nicely over other product, and you only need to use a few drops to cover the face. I haven't noticed any discernable changes to my skin, but I already have fairly healthy looking skin, so I think that this would help me maintain a nice complexion. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Hydrating Product I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now. It is hydrating and smells great. I use it morning and night after I have cleansed. When I first put it on I feel like I am glowing however; I do find it wears off quite quickly. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effectively absorbs into skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mixed experiences with vitamin c in the past. Majority of vitamin c serums have had difficulty absorbing into my skin and end up staying tacky on the surface and pilling when I apply spf or makeup. This didn’t happen with this serum which was the biggest win for me, I enjoyed applying it morning before my other day creams and makeup. It was also great to use at night because the light weight nature of it absorbed so effectively into the skin it didn’t leave a sticky residue. In terms of results I noticed a subtle improvement to my skins texture and tone (reduced redness and more even). I think it has also helped to fade some freckles and pigmentation. I would purchase this product on sale again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The perfect night-time addition to my skin routine I have been using this serum nightly for around 3 weeks. I love the drop applicator and the size of the serum bottle is great to take away. The serum goes on really luxuriously and I put it under my night cream/moisturiser. I have noticed my skin of a morning has brightened up since using the serum, with some finer lines now not visible. A great product! Very happy. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Actually works and love the fragrance!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first sight, the box that it comes in is very plain, the same can be said about the bottle. The dropper is interesting, a bit hard to press if you have long nails, but once you overcome that... the dropper releases the serum as pressed and there is no wastage, as there is a built-in mechanism to scrape off the excess serum. However, we can't judge a book by its cover the contents is what's important. The serum itself has a very light pleasant fragrance... almost refreshing!!! The consistency is not too thick and very absorbent into the skin once applied. I noticed results after the first week, my complexion cleared up and my husband has noticed my skin is noticeably brighter and clearer. At an RRP of $74.99 it is a bit dear, will definately purchase if it is on sale as the results were noticed not just by me also the hubby!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for even skin tone [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for a bit over three weeks now and have noticed my skin tone looking more even. It has helped to get rid of a lot of the redness around my nose and eye areas but I haven't really noticed a reduction or change with my wrinkles. The texture of the product isn't too bad but I didn't feel it absorb into my skin as well as other syrums I've used before. It doesn't really have much of a fragrance and didn't irritate my sensitive skin which is definitely a bonus. I'll keep using the product until it's finished before I decide whether or not to purchase it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but a little pricey [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum is great for those with dry skin, was used under a moisturiser that without the serum was underwhelming. When used with the moisturiser i felt I had a smooth complexion and a healthy glow. The serum tended to be a little sticky if using only a small amount but other than that didn’t mind the texture. I’m saying that, I used a lot more than probably necessary which meant I ran out quite quickly. The price for the size of the bottle I found was quite steep but it was a good product overall. I don’t know if I will purchase again with the price as high as it was.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My complexion is brighter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product exclusively every night so I could see the results more effectively. I have pigmentation from my last pregnancy and it hasn't gone away, my baby is now 14months. I am impressed with my skin after use of this product, I can notice a clear brighter skin. It has given me more confidence to go out without a tint or makeup on. The product itself is easy to use with the dropper, the consistency I would say is thick but spreads very well. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting brighter skin, worked for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall good product id use myself. I am a big fan of vitamin c. Firstly I liked the packaging. I liked the suction dropper, it dispensed just the right amount of product. The serum itself had a nice, thick texture which absorbed well into the skin. It feels nice on the skin without being too heavy or too thick. Works well under make up as well. I didn’t notice any miraculous impact on my skin, but my skin is pretty good in general. It definitely didn’t have any negative impacts on my skin, no break outs etc. overall good product that I’d use again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Serum for skin radiance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I tried this product for 4 weeks and am happy with the results. It's very lightweight and fragrance -free. Only a drop in the morning and at night on the face is enough. I found that my skin was more radiant and found that brighter. My pigmentation reduced visibly and it even helped to even the skin tone. The only recommendation that I felt for this product was if it could be available on specials as for $72 I felt it is a bit on expensive side comparing with other similar products. Happy with the results though and would recommend to family and friends too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pigmentation be gone! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little really does go a long way with this product, I only used a large pea sized amount each time and it just glided on. I like how the product smells and is absorbed by the skin quickly. My post pregnancy pigmentation was quite dark but after 7 days of use it was barely noticeable unless you knew it was there. My skin was so hydrated and soft and it even reduced the appearance of my forehead lines. I am always apprehensive about products after not having much success over the years but this one has been amazing, I love the cute little pump lid too. I would 100% recommend to anyone especially with pigmentation!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great 'one stop shop' for active ingredients I was gifted a product sample to trial and review and i'm so glad that I was! What an awesome 'one stop shop' product that contains all the awesome active ingredients that you would want in your daily routine. I love that this product contains Vitamin C, Hyaluronic and Niacinamide - three ingredients that I have traditionally bought in different products. The formula is hydrating, non greasy and sinks in to your skin beautifully, whilst making it feel plumper and look nice and glowy. I notice the difference when I see my image glowing in team zoom calls after I use it and have had comments on how radiant my skin looks. A beautiful product at a reasonable pricepoint (for the ingredients within), I will continue using!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Vitamin C serum So having been asked to take a before and after photo, I can’t say much has changed to my skin, if anything. The dropper function means a lot of the product comes out and it is more than my face and neck needs. The 30ml lasted for three weeks which isn’t very long, I thought. The serum is nice but I don’t see a change to my skin. I was gifted this to try and provide a review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lightweight, ok packaging I’ve been using this serum for just over a week and have noticed that my skin is feeling more hydrated and supple. I think it’s too early to comment on brightening or any other skin changes, but it’s definitely been a nice and easy addition to my morning routine since it’s lightweight and not sticky, and I’m always a fan of niacinamide and ascorbic acid. I do wish the concentration of each were available though. What I’m not a fan of are the fragrance and packaging. The scent isn’t unpleasant but it can be a bit overwhelming, lightly floral. And airless pump packaging is always better for ascorbic acid to help it stay stable. The dropper is also kind of finicky. So for the price, I’d probably want more sturdy packaging. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review, I like it enough to keep using it and am interested to see results, but probably won’t purchase myself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yehhhh... it's ok..... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging of Dr LeWinn's Serum Series - Vitamin C + Fision GlowPles Glow Serum is nice and very professional looking. Though once I opened the box I personally did not think very highly of the product look itself as it to me has a midrange priced beauty product container look to it. I did however like how the bottle distributes the serum product. I found that It was very easy to use and very clean with no product wastage. I personally didn't notice a difference in the brightness of my skin and feel like it didn't do very much for me look wise but I did like how thick the serum was and how quickly it absorbed into the skin aswell. I feel like my face and neck were pretty hydrated throughout the day and the night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An okay Vit C serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's only over the last 6 months or so that I've really committed to using a vitamin c serum regularly (almost every morning) and have really started seeing noticeable improvements in my skin, with a considerable reduction in redness/hyperpigmentation and my texture is starting to even out. Having finally seen the benefits of a bit c serum, I was really looking forward to trying this product after being chosen to trial it. Unfortunately, it was somewhat underwhelming. The product itself is a pretty standard serum, not being too thin or thick in consistency, and being in packaging with an interesting pipette. Unfortunately, the product doesn't have the slip of my existing vit c serum and it is very sticky almost as soon as it is applied to the skin. As for brightening, this has been maintaining my skin; I was not using this every day by the end, so can't really speak to long-term improvements, but it certainly didn't irritate my skin or undo any of the brightening that I've already encountered from my existing serum. Whilst I don't think this is a bad product, given I have a vit c + antioxidant serum that is really nice to apply without any stickiness, that absorbs quickly, has really helped my skin without irritating or dying it, and doesn't cost as much as this one does (not by a huge margin, but slightly cheaper), I was a bit disappointed in this one and won't purchase myself once I've finished this bottle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So/so [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hmmm. I wanted to love this one but unfortunately, that’s not totally true… Firstly, the packaging is practical but clunky. It’s good but certainly doesn't give off the luxurious vibe that I would expect for a $70 product. The product itself drops reasonably okay from the packaging. It’s a transparent, scent less product that has a gel-like texture. A lot goes a long way and I found that I only needed two drops to cover my face and neck. It sinks in to the skin quickly without leaving a tacky residue. in fact, it unfortunately doesn’t feel like wearing anything so it’s definitely something you need to go over with a hydrating moisturiser. I didn’t see a y improvement in my skin like I have other products in the past which has put me off taking the effort to use it. Gladly though, it didn’t cause any irritation to my skin which is getting more and more sensitive. I will give it more time and see if there are any improvements by the time I get through the bottle though before I write it off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best, not the worst. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight off the bat, I had quite high hopes for this.. However as time pursued I was a little let down. Although it did leave my skin looking fresher in the long run and evened out my skin tone more, it just wasn't as absorbing on my skin as I would've liked it to be! I found that it dried my skin more than anything after apllying and I usually had to top up with moisturiser. The pump on top made it a bit awkward to hold when dispersing onto the face also the size of the dropper is a bit too large, I found using half of a full pump was even enough to cover all the areas of my face. Over all, not my favourite product especially with its price range.. However my partner really liked this so maybe its better suited to a certain skin type, unfortunately just not mine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Serum doesn't reflect price tag [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some expectations of the Dr. LeWinn’s Serum Series – Vitamin C + Fision GlowPlex Glow Serum. However, I was left a little disappointed. I didn't notice any real difference in glow during my trial and the strong scent of lemon was a off putting. The packaging didn't reflect the price tag of $74.99. As a fellow reviewer stated, the dropper is clunky. The serum itself is gel-like, felt nice and absorbed into my skin nicely. That was the main positive. I will continue using it but I wouldn't pay full price on this product.
Date published: 2022-11-21
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Texture too thick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since using the serum I've noticed my fine lines less and felt that my skin has been hydrated, however as someone with an oily t-zone I felt it was a bit too heavy and maybe better suited to dryer skin types. The texture is very thick and a bit slimy, and although it does absorb well and I didn't have any issues wearing it under make up it felt a bit heavy for me to wear during the day. While the bottle design works, the dropper delivers 2 to 3 times more than required and does feel a bit cheap being all plastic unlike comparative brands. For the price I wouldn't purchase but if it was in the $30-40 range I'd recommend for those with dry skin types.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Harsh [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To give some background and reference - my skin is combination oily type without any sensitivity issues, in most cases. I have used Dr Lewinn's products before and liked a few of them but sadly this one won't be getting added to that list. Turns out my skin found this to be on the side of too much. Just after first couple of days my skin started breaking out a bit and also felt little more sensitive in the sun. Considering that this might be a purge, I paused for 3 days and then resumed with just one drop of serum mixed with face oil, only at night times. For a week or so this was fine but again little red dots started appearing. For the next week, I reduced to using 2-3 times per week instead of daily - again just one drop mixed with face oil. It's been two weeks since that change and so far that has been alright. In terms of the effect, I didn't notice any major changes but you can blame that on not being able to use enough product for enough period of time. Having said that, I did try it out on elbows and knees where the skin is slightly darker and also tougher. I'm yet to see any significant results since it's been only one week but it does seem to do better on those skin patches. It can very well be just my imagination but I do feel that the tone seems to slightly brighter/lighter. Also, this serums spreads pretty easily so even for both elbows and knees, just few drops are usually enough.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A drop of hydration [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a thin clear serum that comes in an opaque cylindrical plastic dropper bottle. The opaque packaging keeps the vitamin C from oxidising, which is very important for the vitamin C to continue to be effective. The dropper is a modern pipette style, where one full drop is way too much for my face and chest. The product absorbs very easily into my skin and has a faint citrusy smell. As with all hyaluronic acid containing products, it's best to apply on damp skin and apply even more water afterwards for the product to grab onto the external moisture. On the first few applications, small parts of my skin were slightly irritated. However, after about two days, I had no more issues. It's great that this has a short ingredient list. Although, I'm very surprised this has both niacinamide and vitamin C, which are usually a recipe for redness. It's hard to say whether this product caused any noticeable redness for me, as my skin can be a bit red anyway. After about 3 weeks use, I feel my skin is more surface-hydrated. I don't think any pigmentation has reduced and I need more time assess this. Unfortunately, for $75 I expected more! That said, Dr Lewinn's does go on sale every few months at 50%, which makes the pricing a bit better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Underwhelming [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can we talk about how annoying the packaging is?! Firstly, its not sleek and fancy for a $75 product. Secondly, the dropper is so big and clunky, its difficult to dispense product. Although it was a thick a slippery serum, it didn't feel as hydrating as I expected. I put this on damp skin for the hyaluronic acid to have maximum effect. Although hydrating, it is no miracle product. I didn't notice any difference to my complexion and didn't feel as though I was "Glowing". Its a nice product but has no wow factor, if you can get it for half price, give it a try, its nice enough - its just not worth paying full price!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Where is Vitamin C percentage listed? Was gifted this product and absolutely love the feel of it. But as the actual vitamin C is 3rd from last ingredient, probably explains the lack of visible results after 2 weeks so far? That plus the fact that they don't state the Vit C percentage would be the other giveaway. Maybe the other ingredients boost the minimal C effect - unconvinced though, so far...
