Our Returns Policy
At McPherson’s Consumer Products Pty Ltd (“McPherson’s”, “we”, or “our”), we are committed to providing you with high-quality products. Your satisfaction is important to us.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) in New Zealand. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality, but the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This policy applies only to products purchased directly from McPherson’s official websites. If you purchased from a pharmacy, supermarket, authorised retailer, or other online store their return policy applies. 

Where did you purchase your Product?
The process for returns depends on where you purchased your item:
1.    Purchased from a retailer (e.g., Pharmacy, supermarket, other Online online store)
2.    Purchased directly from McPherson’s (via our website(s))

1. For Products purchased from a retailer
If you purchased our products from any retailer (online or physical store other than our official website(s)), your primary point of contact for a return, refund, or exchange is the retailer from whom you purchased the product.
Any such return is subject to the retailers own specific return policy and conditions.


2. For Products purchased directly from McPherson’s
If you purchased our products directly from our official website(s), the following policy applies:

A. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items 
If you receive product(s) purchased directly from our website(s) that is damaged in transit or incorrect, this must be reported to McPherson’s within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. For faulty items, please contact us as soon as you discover the fault. This can be done by completing our online form here
If the product(s) is found to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a prepaid postage options or advise on reimbursement. Please retain receipts for postage.
Lady Jayne and Manicare electrical products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty. This warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorised repairs, or hygiene-related issues. These warranty rights apply in addition to, and do not limit, your statutory rights under the ACL in Australia and the CGA in New Zealand.

B. Change of Mind Returns 
For items purchased directly from our website(s), we offer a "change of mind" policy under specific conditions:
•    We accept a change of mind return within 7 business days from the date of delivery. After this period, you may not be entitled to a refund or exchange.
•    You must provide adequate proof of purchase when returning the item. Proof of purchase may include your tax invoice, order number, order history, or bank statement showing the transaction.
•    Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original, sealed packaging, with all seals intact and in a sellable condition.
•    The product(s) is not one listed below as not available for a change of mind return.
•    For change of mind returns, shipping costs (both original and return shipping) are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer.

All change of mind returns are issued at the discretion of McPherson’s. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange for a change of mind request if it does not comply with these conditions.

Products on which a change of mind return is not available
McPherson’s will not accept the return of products from the following categories under any circumstances:
•    Opened or used skincare, cosmetic, or personal care products due to health and hygiene reasons.
•    All Fusion Health and Oriental Botanical products due to health regulations and the nature of these products, so please select your Fusion Health or Oriental Botanical products carefully.
•    Sale or clearance products are not eligible for a return
•  Note: Regardless of the above exclusions, nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the ACL in Australia or the CGA in New Zealand. All McPherson’s products are covered by these statutory rights, including your rights to remedies for faulty or defective goods.

How do I return a Product?
If you purchased directly from our website and want to initiate a return:
1.    Complete our online form here
2.    Our team will assess your request and provide you with instructions on how to return the item (if applicable). Please do not send items back without instructions from us, as this may delay processing.
3.    Send the item back to us as instructed. For faulty/damaged/incorrect items, McPherson’s will cover reasonable return shipping costs. For change of mind returns, you are responsible for the shipping cost. For faulty/damaged/incorrect items, we will advise on prepaid return labels or reimbursement of reasonable shipping costs. Please retain receipts for shipping costs. 
4.    Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. Depending on the assessment, outcomes may include repair, replacement, or a refund. Any refunds will be provided via the same method of payment as the purchase.
